When are the Igloos opening/closing for the season?

Reservations begin starting November 1st. Igloo season runs through mid-March.

What is the difference between the VIP Lounge Igloo and the Prix Fixe Igloo?

The Prix Fixe igloo is a dining experience including at least four courses with options for wine and cocktail pairings. This is a leisurely but structured dinner for up to 6 guests. Orders for all four courses are taken at the beginning of the meal, and beverage service continues to be offered throughout the reservation. Prix Fixe igloo reservations are guaranteed a 2.5-hour window to enjoy the space.

Our VIP lounge Igloos can accommodate anywhere from 1-10 people for a fixed minimum to rent the igloo for a 3-hour window. The experience is $500 and includes a $450 credit to put towards food and beverage purchases during the reservation. There is no structured food or beverage selection here, guests may order at their own pace. There will be a last call for food 45 minutes before the scheduled reservation end time to ensure that reservation times do not run over.

What does the reservation cost?

VIP Igloo Reservations are pre-paid 3-hour reservation slots. The experience is $500 and includes a $450 credit to put towards food and beverage purchases during the reservation. Purchases above the credit amount will have a balance due at the end of the reservation.
 
Prix-Fixe Experience Reservations require a $50 deposit which will be applied to the final bill. All participants for Prix-Fixe reservations will enjoy our four-course menu, which will be charged at $60 per person at the time of reservation.

All reservations are subject to tax and a 20% service charge paid directly to the Igloo service team. We accept up to 4 forms of payment on any size reservation.

How does the Prix Fixe menu work?

The Prix Fixe menu offers four courses for $60. There are between 4 and 5 choices for each course, with options for guests with dietary restrictions like gluten and dairy allergies, as well as vegetarian and vegan guests. If you or anyone in your party has specific dietary needs, please include these in your reservation notes. Guests enjoying the Prix Fixe experience may order additional items from the a la carte menu to supplement their meal for an additional cost if they choose.

How does dining in the VIP lounge work?

The VIP lounge may order from our A La Carte food and beverage menus. There is a credit on the pre-paid reservation of $450, that can be applied to subtotal, tax, and gratuity. VIP Igloos can accommodate up to 10 guests. There is a last call for food orders 45 minutes before the scheduled reservation end time to ensure the kitchen has time to prepare items before the reservation ends. Reservation windows are strict and will not be extended for parties that arrive late to their scheduled reservation start time.

What is The Polar Lounge?

The Polar Lounge is our wintertime bar, a greenhouse lounge with comfortable seating and cocktail and bar snack service. Walk-ins are welcome and there are no time limits or per-person minimums. The lounge is a 21+ space. We have a limited food menu offered here, in addition to our full bar offerings. The Polar Lounge is also available to book for private parties of up to 20 guests.

What if we don't want the Prix Fixe menu?

All guests in the Prix Fixe Igloos will be expected to enjoy the prix-fixe menu. For reservations that prefer the "lounge" experience, please book a VIP Lounge igloo. We also have an A La Carte brunch service available on the weekends that does not carry a per-person minimum.

Is there a minimum price per guest at Brunch?

There is no per-person minimum at brunch.

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

Reservations can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Deposit and pre-payments are refundable up to 48 hours ahead of reservation times. Deposits will not be refunded for reservations cancelled less than 48 hours in advance or for no-shows. If you would like to increase your party size, please note that this is an option on a case-by-case basis depending on availability and pacing. Reservations can be modified or cancelled via your confirmation email. Please contact Unscripted directly herefor special requests.

What happens if I am late?

We have a 20-minute grace period for late reservations. After 20 minutes your reservation will be marked as a no-show, and refunds will not be issued. Out of consideration for all other reservations, the scheduled "end time" for your reservation does not get extended if you are late.

How many people fit in an igloo?

Our VIP Lounge Igloos accommodate up to 10 guests, our Prix Fixe experience Igloos accommodate up to 6. Parties of more than 10 guests do not fit in a single igloo. If you would like your party to be split up into multiple Igloos, or you would like to book a private party in the Polar Lounge, please contact the Unscripted Food & Beverage team here.

Are children allowed, and is there a children's menu?

Children are allowed. We have children's options for guests under 12 years of age in both reservation types.

Do you have to eat if you make a reservation?

All guests in prix-fixe Igloos will be charged $60 per person for the prix-fixe menu, regardless of whether they choose to eat or not. If a guest in a Prix-Fixe igloo elects not to eat, they may spend $60 on beverage instead.

Guests in our VIP lounge Igloos can choose to spend their credit on only alcohol if they do not care to eat. Outside food is not permitted at any time in the Igloos.

Are walk-ins permitted?

Our Polar Lounge "Bar" is open for walk-ins every day when the Igloos are open, with no per-person minimums. For Igloos, we accommodate walk-ins in VIP or Prix-Fixe experiences based on availability. In peak months (December-January) we have limited ability to accommodate walk-ins for our Igloo spaces, and it is highly advisable to book a reservation in advance.

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are not permitted in the pool and patio area.

Can hotel guests order from the igloo menu to-go?

Absolutely! Orders can be placed with the bartender, and we can deliver to your room when the order is ready. We do not currently offer take-out for non-hotel guests.

Can a reservation be seated early if they arrive early?

We are unable to promise early seating. If there is availability, we will do our best to accommodate. Groups that are early are welcome to enjoy the Polar Lounge Bar on the Patio or the Studio bar area downstairs while they wait.

Are the Igloos heated?

The Igloos are all outfitted with an electric fireplace, as well as blankets. However, on extremely cold days, it is advisable for guests to dress in layers as the experience is still exposed to the elements.

Can I play my own music in the Igloos?

Personal speakers are permitted so long as the volume does not interrupt the experience of our other guests.

Will there be entertainment in the Igloos?

The Igloos at Unscripted have a festive playlist during normal service. For our themed holiday parties, we have live entertainment including DJs, musical performances, and themed visitors.

Does the rooftop close in the event of inclement weather?

In the event of thunderstorms and very heavy rain/flooding, Unscripted will close the Igloos for service and issue alerts and refunds to reservations scheduled. For all other inclement weather including moderate rain, wind, and snow, we continue to operate. If Unscripted closes Igloos for the day due to unsafe weather conditions, guests will be assisted with rebooking or will be issued a refund.

How long can I stay in the igloo?

Igloo reservation times are dependent on the experience selected, and details are noted in the experience type. Each window is strict, so please endeavor to be on time for your reservation.

Is there a discount to stay in the hotel if I have an igloo reservation?

Yes! Upon booking your igloo reservation, your confirmation email will include a discount code that you may use to book a room at the hotel at 10% off.

We are celebrating a special occasion, and I would like to bring decorations and/or a cake. Is that allowed?

Decorations are permitted if they do not involve live flame or anything that would damage the igloo structures. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Cake is permitted with a fee of $5/person. Wine bottles are also permitted for a corkage fee of $35/bottle.
